Beth Rowlands

Beth Rowlands, DNP, MSN, APRN, is the Chief Nurse Executive, Clinical Services at Amalgamated Medical Care Management, Inc.

Beth is a board certified geriatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field.  After receiving her BSN from the University of Rochester in New York and her MSN from UMass Lowell, Beth pursued and earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rush University and also holds a Graduate Certificate in Financial Management from UMass Lowell.

Beth has worked in a variety of disciplines as a nurse practitioner including managed care, acute care, psychiatry and skilled nursing facilities.   She has held administrative management positions in clinical services and operations throughout her career.  Beth has authored and co-authored several publications in nursing journals and has lectured at a variety of local and national conferences on healthcare related topics.

Prior to joining AMCM, Beth served in a leadership role at a national physician services company where she directed initiatives surrounding quality improvements while collaborating with multiple divisions resulting in improved regional performance and metrics. Beth also served as part of a multidisciplinary clinical leadership team accountable for regulatory compliance, clinical operations, budget, growth, expansion and partnering with community stakeholders. Beth continues to hold an assistant clinical professorship at UMass Boston where she is an instructor for the graduate and undergraduate nursing programs and a Doctor Committee Chair for graduate students.
